I love taking photos.

I also love doing design work, and I really believe they complement each other. If you know photography, it makes, for example, brand designing easier, and vice versa—knowing how art directors (might) think makes it easier to suggest something during photoshoots. I also co-owned a design agency for ten years, so I know how this business works. And I have started to like videography too, so I create videos as well!

Because it's not always believable to be good at two things, this website is more about the photos I’ve taken, but there is a small section for the design work I have done. Anyway, about 70% of my commissioned work is photography.

My clients include ad agencies, startups, listed companies, and randomly some civilians (not companies). In these 20+ years in business, I have gotten used to working in many different setups and teams.

The photography style can be seen better in the photos, but the number one question I get is: "What kind of photography do you do?" So I’ll try to answer: My photography style could be described as “elevated documentary.” By this, I mean that I strive for authenticity in my images while understanding the realities of advertising and visual communication.

As a person, I am a hard-working, flexible, and quiet Finnish man who tries to be funny. I love to travel, but due to the knowledge of climate change and other issues, I have started to invest more in travel quality rather than quantity.

I also try to do sports. Biking, Muay Thai, and gym make me happy. ​​I’ve been a gym owner since 2024, so now there shouldn't be any excuses for not going to the gym.
